Terry Yoho

Terry Wayne Yoho, age 66, of Cassville, Missouri and a former Erie resident, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019 in Shell Knob, MO.

He was born December 14, 1952 in Girard to Wayne and Eileen (Nelson) Yoho. He grew up and received his education in Erie, graduating from Erie High School in 1970. He also attended Chanute Junior College. For many years he was a truck driver, driving 18-wheelers and cement powder trucks. Most of his life was spent in the Erie area before moving to Cassville in 2003.

Some of his favorite past times were going to Branson and watching the K.U. Jayhawks, Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs. In 1981 he committed his life to Christ and upon moving to Cassville he was a member and deacon at Corinth Baptist Church where he was very active in the choir and enjoyed being a Sunday School teacher.

On May 7, 1971 he was united in marriage to Cheryl Tredway at the Shaw Christian Church. She survives of the home. 

Also surviving are two sons, 1st Sgt. Mark Yoho (Karissa) of Yelm, WA. and David Yoho (Danielle) of Monett, MO; a daughter, Tonya Starr (Travis) of Seligman, MO; mother, Eileen Yoho, of Erie; mother-in-law, Lucy Tredway, of Erie; brother Mike Yoho (Judy) of Savonburg; sisters, Carla Bennett (John) of Stark and Christi Han (Shawn) of Erie; brothers-in-law Gary Tredway (Sheila) of Edmond, OK and Cale Tredway (Shelly) of Erie; sister-in-law Gloria Ewen of Erie; nine grandchildren, Austin, Steven (Lora), Jaden, Isaac, Zakary, Addison, Cameron, Audrey and Andy; four step-grandchildren, Heaven, Dewayne, Devon and Theron; great-granddaughter Isla and four step-great-grandchildren , Tyler, Tegan, Nixon and Brooklyn.

Preceding him in death was his father, Wayne Yoho, his father-in-law, Dale Tredway and brother-in-law, Randy Ewen.

There will be a visitation Saturday evening at the Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville and a funeral service Sunday at 3 p.m., at the Corinth Baptist Church in Cassville. 

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday at the Pierce-Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Erie. A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at East Hill Cemetery in Erie.
