Hazel Goff

Hazel May Goff, 97, of Flint, Texas, formerly of Pittsburg, died at 4:25 p.m. Saturday, August 3, 2019 at her daughter’s home.

She was born June 24, 1922 at Pittsburg, Kansas, the daughter of John Thomas and Ermal Amy (Waite) Black.

On June 24, 1941, she was united in marriage to Lloyd Goff at Carthage, Missouri. He preceded her in death on April 5, 2007.

Membership was held in the First Baptist Church of Pittsburg.








Survivors include two sons, Benjamin Goff of Yuba, CA and Nathan Daniel Goff of Loomis, CA; a daughter, Linda Kennedy of Flint, TX; a sister, Ethel Hayes of Oklahoma City, OK; five grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Lloyd Thomas Goff, five brothers and three sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, (Aug. 10th) at the Garden of Memories Cemetery with Rev. Dan Moss officiating. Burial will follow the services. Friends may call at the Brenner Mortuary to sign the register book from noon to 5 p.m. Friday. The casket will remain closed. Friends may leave condolences online at www.brennermortuary.com. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg.
