Dawn Marie Hudson, 43, of Pittsburg, passed away on Saturday, August 17th, 2019 at her home.
She was born August 31, 1975, in Fort Scott, Kansas, the daughter of Marvin Curtis Hudson and Janet Ruth Heider.
Dawn was engaged to wed to Ashley Gibson, of Pittsburg, he survives of the home.
Dawn attended Arma, Kansas schools from grade school until graduation from Northeast High School in 1993. At that time, she attended Pittsburg State University for 4 years. Once completing some college, Ms. Hudson went on to work at Miller’s Professional Imaging for several years.
She was of the Christian faith, and loved the Lord with all her heart and soul. Membership was held at the Lighthouse Tabernacle in Pittsburg, KS.
In addition to her fiancé Ashley, she is survived by her grandfather Roy C. Hudson, her parents Marvin and Theresa Hudson and Janet Heider, a sister Tanessa (Hudson) Cunningham and her husband Curt, and a brother Michael Hudson and his wife Kasi. Two nephews, Garon Worrell and Russell Hudson, and two nieces, AnnaLynn Hudson and Josey Cunningham. As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Dawn was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Donald F. Heider and Wanda Lou (Goodall) Heider, and paternal grandmother Betty Alice (Eagan) Hudson. In addition to three angelic premature babies.
A service is set for 2:00 p.m. August 24, 2019, at Lighthouse Tabernacle with Pastor Daryl Gaddy officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral at the church. Burial will follow in the Crocker Cemetery, Pittsburg, KS. Lighthouse Tabernacle: 604 S. 200th St, Pittsburg, KS 66762. Funeral services are under the direction of Bath Naylor Funeral Home.
