Shu Yuan Chung Wang

Shu Yuan Chung Wang, age 72 of Pittsburg, passed away at 4:15 AM on April 1, 2020 at Via Christi Village in Pittsburg.

Shu Yuan was born the daughter of A-Tung Wang and Chin Hsiao on January 5, 1948 in Keelung, Taiwan. She was united in marriage with Chou Hsien Chung in Taipei, Taiwan on June 2, 1974. They moved to Asuncion, Paraguay, in 1979, where they raised their family and ran a small business.

After 30 years in Paraguay, they moved to the States, settling down in retirement in Pittsburg, Kansas. She was a loving, devoted, and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending her time cooking for friends and family. Her infectious smile and tasty dishes will be missed by all.








She is survived by her husband, Chou Hsien Chung; one son, Dr. Peter Chung of Pittsburg; one daughter, Chilly Tzeng (husband, Jerry Tzeng) of Peoria, IL; one grandson, Elijah Tzeng; four brothers; and one sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two older sisters.
