Norma Lee (Hines) Riebe, 91, Erie, died Sunday April 26, 2020, at the home of her daughter in Frontenac, KS.
She was born February 9th, 1929, in Erie, KS, to John Henry Hines, and Letha Charlotte (Taylor) Hines. Norma was raised in Erie, KS and attended Doan-Dodd country school and Erie High School.
On Easter Sunday, April 21, 1946, Norma married Carl Alfred Riebe, at the First Christian Church in Erie, KS. They lived in the rural Walnut area until moving to Erie in 1968.
Norma worked at several locations in Erie, and she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Erie.
Survivors include her children; Audrey McCall, Moran; Rhonda Craven, El Dorado; Dana Riebe and his wife Debra, Pittsburg; and Tari Emery and her husband Rob, Frontenac; eight grandchildren, Travis McCall and his wife Mindy, Sheila Newman, Tiffany Willard and her fiancé Jason Cogdell, Misty Guerrero and her husband Rudy, Sunni Stipp, and her husband Anthony, Vanessa Kramer and her husband Jason, T.J. Ensch and his wife Jennifer, and Marcella Schropp and her husband Craig, 18 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Durward, two sisters, Irene Bowman and Alberta Holding, and her husband Carl.
Private graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at East Hill Cemetery with Pastor Danny Flippo Officiating. Friends may call at the Pierce-Carson-Wall Funeral from 11:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, and from 9:00-10:00 Wednesday morning.
