Danny Alan Pennock, 50, of Riverton, Kansas, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 29, 2020.
Alan was born October 17, 1969, in Joplin, Missouri, to the union of Daniel and JoAnn (Dyson) Pennock. He graduated from Riverton High School in 1988. Alan worked as an area millwright and was a proud member of the IBEW union. He always enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and spending time with his family.
Alan was preceded in death by his sister, Tina Scott.
Survivors include his son, Roman Peña, of Baxter Springs, Kansas; daughters, Madalynne Pennock and Alayna Pennock, and their mother, Paula Pennock, all of Miami, Oklahoma; his mother, JoAnn Pennock, of Galena, Kansas; sister, Tracy Pennock, of Galena; grandchildren, Kate, Josh and Jack; niece, Amanda Williams, and husband, Nathan; two great-nieces, Olivia and Kyleigh; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at Quaker Valley Cemetery in Riverton, Kansas, with Pastor Roger Scantlin officiating. No formal visitation will be held, but friends are welcome to pay their respects at Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary in Joplin.
