Lou Ann Rosewicz

Lou Ann Rosewicz, 85, of Parsons, died at 9:35 P.M. Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Parsons Good Samaritan Center.

She was born October 8, 1933 at Pierce City, MO, a daughter of Albert and Lilly Bell (Ami) Taylor. She was raised at Pierce City and attended school there. After graduating from high school she lived at Monett for a short time, then moved to Parsons in 1968 to work at the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant and was an inspector. After thirty-one years she retired in 1999. She then moved to Las Vegas, NV and worked in security. In November 2018 she returned to Parsons.

She was united in marriage to Theodore “Ted” Rosewicz on August 17, 1963 at Cassville, MO. He preceded her in death on June 20, 1985.

She was Baptist. She enjoyed horses and participated in barrel racing.

Survivors include: one son and daughter in-law – Tony and Patty Stipp, Las Vegas, NV; one daughter and son in-law – Donna and Brad Jay, Parsons, KS; four grandchildren – Janine Nelson, Weir, KS, David Stipp, Lawrence, KS, Dylan Stipp, Las Vegas, NV, Brandi Stipp, Colorado Springs, CO; four great-grandchildren – Tray Myers, Parsons, KS, Tyler Myers, Parsons, KS, Jacob Stipp, Lawrence, KS, Tucker Tastove, Altamont, KS. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son – Eddie Stipp.

Memorials services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Howell officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery later. Online condolences may be left at www.wallfuneralservices.com.
