Larry Ray Malle, 76 of Cherokee, KS died at 3:30 am Friday, December 8, 2017 at his home following a lengthy illness.
He was born September 19, 1941 in Pittsburg, KS the son of John L. and Hazel P. (Hudson) Malle.
On July 1, 1963 he was united in marriages to Beverly Morrison in Miami, OK; she survives him of the home.
Larry worked at Dickey Clay for several years before going to work for the U.S.D. 247 in Cherokee in the Maintenance Department.
He was a former member of the Church of God (13th & Tucker), in the last few years he attended the First Baptist Church of Cherokee. He was also a longtime member of the Cherokee Gun Club.
Additional survivors include two sons: Larry Michael (Kelly) Malle and Kevin Bryan Malle; a daughter Vickie Linette Malle all of Cherokee; seven grandchildren; Haley Malle, Jamie Malle, Chelcey (Joe) Sexton, Brandon Malle, Heather Malle, Brett Malle and Avery LeFever along with a great-grandson James Sexton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be 11:30 am on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the Cherokee City Cemetery with Rev. Daryl Gaddy officiating. Friends are requested to meet at the cemetery for the services.
