Henry O. Foote, Sr. 80 of Coffeyville, Kansas formally of the Picher/Commerce area passed away Friday December 1, 2017 at his daughter’s home in Coffeyville, Kansas.
Henry was born September 11, 1937 in Amsterdam, Missouri to J.C. and May Orpha (Harry) Foote.
He married Arlene November 1, 1965 in Warner, Oklahoma and they renewed their vows on July 4, 2001 in Corona, Kansas Arlene precedes him in death.
Henry served in the United States Army with the 82nd Airborne Division during Vietnam, he was an entertainer, drove for CFI and worked for Baxter Vault before retiring.
Henry is preceded in death by his parents three brothers Frankie Bolding, Donald Foote, Aaron Foote one sister Ellender Kirk.
Survivors four sons Henry Charles Foote of Baxter Springs, KS Michael and wife JoAnn foote of Baxter Springs, KS Henry O. Foote Jr. of Baxter Springs, KS and Richard and wife Terri Foote of Joplin, MO two daughters Jeanette and husband Jim Choate of Branson, MO and Rebecka “Becky” Kristine and husband Jim of Coffeeville, KS one sister Anna Owens of Hannibal, MO 26 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Services will held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday December 5, 2017 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Commerce, Oklahoma with Bro Alvin Kirk officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Treece, Kansas under the direction of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Commerce, Oklahoma. The family will receives friends and relatives Monday December 4, 2017 from 6-7 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Commerce, Oklahoma.
