Cleyone Hempen

Cleyone Hempen, 78, of Pittsburg Ks, passed away December 10, 2017 at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg.

She was born June 28, 1939 in Neodesha, Kansas the daughter of Alfred and Mildred (Coats) Tindle.
She married the love of her life, Ronald Hempen on March 27, 1968 in Fredonia, Kansas.

Cleyone was always willing to help people in need and loved cooking for anyone who came to her home.

She was an active member at the Liberty Baptist Church. 

Survivors include husband; Ronald Hempen of Pittsburg, KS, son James Ballinger of Waveland, Mississippi, three daughters; Debra (Bill) Moat, Christy (Bill) Hull, April (David) Monohon, brother; Donald Tindle of Tennessee, 4 sisters; Betty Struckmeyer of Arizona, Jeannie Taylor of Los Angles, California, Gloria Tindle of Neodesha, Kansas, Stacey Tindle of Arizona, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will be 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg, KS, with the Pastor Richard King, officiating. A visitation will be held an hour prior to the graveside service at Bath- Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg.

A memorial has been established to the Liberty Baptist Church. Condolences may be left at our website www.bathnaylor.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Bath-Naylor Funeral Home of Pittsburg, KS.
