Gail Brungardt

Gail E. Brungardt, age 78, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Mrs. Brungardt was born on May 23, 1939, in Detroit, Michigan. On December 16, 1956, she was united in marriage to the love of her life Leonard Brungardt. Mrs. Brungardt was a devoted Jehovah Witness and was baptized in 1967. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed every minute she could with them. Mrs. Brungardt always had a smiling face and was a friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be forever missed.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-one years, Leonard Brungardt, of Shell Knob; four daughters, Vickie Mertens and her husband Michael, of Shell Knob, Christine Hudson and her husband Phil, of Pittsburg, Kansas, Sandra Dee Brungardt, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and Angie Morgan, of Bentonville, Arkansas; thirteen grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son David Brungardt.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Shell Knob, with Elder Dale Crownhart officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made the Kingdom Hall in Shell Knob and entrusted to the White Funeral Home and Crematory, P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.

Service arrangements and cremation are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
