Kayauna Rose Zabel of Miami, OK passed from this life on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Freeman Health System in Joplin, MO. She was 20.
Kayauna was born June 14, 1999 in Joplin, MO to Timothy and Charity (Freeman) Swenson. She was a 2018 graduate of Wyandotte High School in Wyandotte, OK. She had lived in the four state area all of her life.
Kayauna was a Para-Professional at Park School in Columbus, KS.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Ramon Fent and Kenneth and Virginia Freeman.
Kayauna married Preston Zabel on July 30, 2019. He survives of the home. Kayauna is also survived by her mother, Charity Freeman of Miami, OK, her father, Timothy Swenson of Miami, OK, 1 brother, Josiah Swenson of Miami, OK, 1 sister, Elora Swenson of Norman, OK, her maternal grandmother, Laura Freeman of Miami, OK, her maternal grandfather, Phillip Freeman of Thailand, her paternal grand parents, Glen and Kaye Renshaw of Sun City, AZ and her maternal great-grandmother, Gala Fent of Miami, OK.
Celebration of Life services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at First Assembly of God Church in Miami, OK with Bill Cochran officiating. Private interment will be in Woodland Memorial Park in Sand Springs, OK. Services have been placed in the care of Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
