Theresa Sue Dresher, 62, passed from this life Wednesday March 25, 2020 at Labette Health in Parsons, KS from complications of lung cancer.
She was born June 25, 1957 in Parsons, KS to George E. and Lillie B. (DeWitt) Dresher of Chetopa, KS.
She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Chetopa, and K-12 in Chetopa Schools graduating in 1975. She then attended Labette Community College and Pittsburg State University until transferring to Kansas University to study Occupational Therapy.
She never married. She worked in several industries throughout the years. She recently returned to Oswego to be near family. She enjoyed family, genealogy, woodcarving, and drawing.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Sadie Ketchel.
Survivors include a brother Jim (Jeani) Geer, Minot ND; and three sisters Kay (David) Foster, Pierce City, MO; Ann (James) Moore, Parsons, KS; and Mary (John) Russell, Oswego, KS and several nieces and nephews.
No service has been planned at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Oswego Nursing and Rehab Oswego, KS.
