Steven A. Hon, 41, of Parsons, passed away at 10;25 p.m., Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at the Labette Health Emergency Room in Parsons.
He was born on August 12, 1978 at Martinez, California to Alan Neil and Janet Ellen (Bush) Hon. Steven grew up at Parsons and attended Parsons and Erie schools.
Steven moved to the Medford, Oregon area where he worked in the food service industry and then worked in construction and tile setter for various construction companies.
He enjoyed fishing, riding and working on dirt bikes, camping, cars, road trips, and the fourth of July.
Steven and Jamie Ney-Selke were united in marriage on March 3, 2019 at Rogue River, Oregon. She survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, Steven is survived by his children, Jonathan Atwood of Parsons, Haydyn Schwartz of Salt Lake City, UT, Clinton Hon of Altamont, Carson Hon of Medford, OR, and Shelby Selke of Rogue River, OR; his father, Alan Hon of Parsons; his brother, Anthony “Tony” Hon of Parsons; several aunts and uncles, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by a son, Collin Hon and his mother, Janet Hon.
A memorial visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday March 7, 2020 at 1206 Chess Ave. Memorials are suggested to the family to assist with expenses and these may be left at or mailed to the Carson-Wall Funeral Home 112 N. 26th St., P.O.
