Tommy Weakley

Tommy Ray Weakley, age 69 of Galena, passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 20, 2019.

Tommy was born on November 22, 1949 to the union of Howard Weakley and Doris (Cornelison) Weakley. He had lived in the Galena area all of his life.

Tommy worked in Management at Doane’s, just east of Galena for several years before his retirement. His favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing.

He was united in marriage with Reta M. (Youngblood) Weakley on February 21, 2003. She preceded him in death on August 28, 2011. He was also preceded in death by his father, Howard Weakley, and his mother Doris “Doe” Weakley, who passed away on August 4, 2019, less than two months before Tommy.

He is survived by one daughter, Missy Trickett (husband, James) of Fairland, OK; one sister, Sue Weakley; four grandchildren, Sabastain Trickett, Tapanga Trickett, Angelica Trickett, and Hunter Trickett; three great-grandchildren, Arihanna, Derek, and Ariel, with another on the way; and his longtime companion, Tami Allen.

Mr. Weakley was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home of Galena for cremation. There will be a graveside service, where he will be buried beside Reta Weakley at Saginaw Community Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences may be expressed at www.derfeltfuneralhomes.com.
