Ann Marie Thornton, 49 of Pittsburg, KS died Sept. 13, 2019 in Weir, KS, surrounded by her family.
She was born January 21, 1970 in Columbus, KS the daughter of Billie and Annabell (Harleman) Thornton.
Ann went to Southeast High School in Cherokee, KS. She had attended the Lighthouse Tabernacle in Pittsburg.
She never knew a stranger and will be sadly missed by all of her friends and family.
Survivors include a daughter Kassie Leonard; 3 sons: Brandon (Jordan) Thornton, Adam Thornton all of Pittsburg and Richard Willhite, Jr. of Columbus, IN; a sister Stella (Jim) Bell, 4 brothers: William Thornton, Elis (Drenda) Thornton, Patrick Thornton all of Pittsburg; along with 4 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be 2pm Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the Weir Baptist Church with Pastor Dane Uber officiating. Burial will follow in the Crocker Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home in Weir from 6-8 pm Tuesday evening. Memorials may be left to help with final expenses.
Services are under the direction of the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home of Weir.
