Linda Darlene “Drena” Linthicum of Miami, OK passed from this life Sunday, September 15, 2019 at her home. She was 73.
Drena was born January 26, 1946 in Picher, OK to Otis and Lucille (Woods) Abernathy. She had lived in the Picher and Miami area all her life. She was a homemaker and was a member of the United In Christ Church in Quapaw, OK.
Drena was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Raymond Otis Abernathy, Jr. and her sister Donna Captain.
Survivors include her husband Joe Linthicum of the home, 2 sons Jeff Linthicum and wife Connie of Greensboro, NC and Michael Linthicum and wife Julie of Parsons, KS, 3 daughters Katy Rasor of Miami, OK, Jody Cox and husband Claude of Miami, OK and Stephanie Anderson and husband Jason of Miami, OK, 1 sister Karen Hatfield of Miami, OK, 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 23, 2019 at the United In Christ Church in Quapaw, OK. Rev. Cliff Redden will officiate. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery S.W. of Columbus, KS. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK.
