Leonard O Mack Jr, age 68, passed away at 9:45 pm, Monday, February 4, 2019 at Via Christi Villiage, Pittsburg, following an illness.
Mr Mack wa born November 14, 1950 in Pittsburg. His parents were Leonard O Mack Sr and Hassie Belle (Jackson) Mack. He was a lifetime resident of Pittsburg.
After graduating from Pittsburg High School in 1968, he attended Pitt State University before entering the U S Air Force in May, 1970. He was discharged in February, 1974.
He worked several years as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, and watching NASCAR.
His wife, Janet Clark Mack preceded him in death Aug 21, 2012. He was also precede din death by his parents and two brothers, Ronnie and Robert Mack.
Surviving is one son, Denton Mack, Girard, KS; two daughters, Meaghanne Mack, Pittsburg, and Imber Mack, the Philippines. He is also survived by two grandsons, Issac Mack and Shawn Mack both of Pittsubrg; three brothers, Wallace Mack, Jon Mack, and Greg Mack all of Pittsburg; and two sisters, Donna Brice Campbell, Kansas City, MO and Karen Bentner, Pittsburg.
Leonard was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena KS for cremation. The family plan to celebrate his life at a later date.
