Marie Margaret Lombard of Columbus, Kansas passed from this life on May 25, 2020 at Medical Lodge Columbus, she was 84.
Marie was born on January 4, 1936 to Theodore Augustus and Ada (Watts) Mudd. Marie lived in Columbus for five years moving from Mound Valley. She was a cook for the Unified School District 506 Labette County. She attended Mt Zion Community Church in Cherryvale, Kansas. Marie was a member of the Sunflower Sportsman Club out of Parsons. She enjoyed quilting, sewing spending time with her grandchildren and loved her yorkie Samson.
She married Harold Dean Lombard in Chanute, Kansas he preceded her in death.
Marie is also preceded in death by two brothers Joe Mudd, Gene Mudd and a granddaughter Hailey.
Marie is survived by three daughters Rena Bowman and significant other Rick Lass of Cherokee, Kansas, Cristina Burns and husband David of Columbus, Kansas and Dena Daniels and husband Tony of Cherryvale, Kansas, one sister Betty Shultz of Arizona. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Graveside Service will be 1:00pm Friday May 29, 2020 at Walnut Cemetery north of Erie, Kansas. Marie will lie in state from 9:00am-5:00pm on Thursday for those who wish to come and go and pay your respects.
