Donald Leroy McKee of Columbus, Kansas passed from this life on July 19, 2019 at Medical lodge Columbus, he was 77.
Donald was born on August 17, 1941 in Columbus, Kansas to Harry Leroy and Helen (Marrow) McKee. He lived in the Columbus area all his life. He was a laborer making cabinets. He was a member of Center Christian Church in rural Columbus, Kansas. He was loved to hunt and track deer. Donald married Cheryl Gust in Columbus on February 15, 1963 and she precedes him in death.
He is also preceded in death by parents, and one sister Rose Hale.
Survivors include one daughter Leslie McKee of Frontenac, Kansas, two sisters Verna Cossairt and husband Jack of rural Columbus and Frieda Prudlick of Oklahoma. Donald is also survived by two granddaughters Aria and Jayce Huguenin.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday July 23, 2019 at Derfelt Funeral Home in Columbus, Kansas. A visitation will take place on the same day of the service from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Park Cemetery east Columbus, Kansas. Pastor Justin Coberley will officiate.
