Mary Belle Hollingsworth of Baxter Springs, Kansas, 95, passed away from this life at 4:30 am on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Galena Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mary was born on October 14th, 1924 in Rock Falls, Illinois to Burton and Clara Jones.
She married William F. Hollingsworth on October 14th 1946 in Dixon, Illinois. William and Mary lived in Baxter Springs, Kansas for the last 40 years. They were members of The Church of the Nazarene in Baxter Springs, Kansas.
Mary is survived by her daughter Laurie Olson and spouse Robert Olson of Gaithersburg, Maryland, daughter Billie Gess of Baxter Springs, Kansas, daughter-in-law Linda Hollingsworth. She is also survived by her grandchildren Anthony Hollingsworth, Matthew Hollingsworth, Andrew Hollingsworth, Angela Campbell, Mark Olson and Logan Gess. Survived by great grandchildren Kathryn Hollingsworth, Caroline Hollingsworth, Claudia Hollingsworth, Ethan Campbell and Cole Campbell.
Mary is preceded in death by her spouse William F. Hollingsworth, daughter Glenda Regan, grandchild Tammy Regan and a son Lee Hollingsworth.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held in Dixon Illinois at Lowell Park in the Spring of 2020. Condolences may be sent to 2027 East Ave. in Baxter Springs, Kansas 66713. The family has entrusted Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel for cremation.
