Gary LaRue

Gary Dean LaRue, 61, of Pittsburg and a former Parsons resident, died at 3:12 p.m., Sunday, December 22, 2019 at his residence.

He was born April 28, 1958, at Van Nuys, California to Albert and LaVerne (Peterson) LaRue. His parents were natives of Parsons and returned to Parsons later. Gary came to Parsons in 1970 and later moved to Pittsburg.

He was a twin and was born with Down Syndrome. He was healthy for most of his years and enjoyed life. He loved trains, fire trucks, loud cars, music and ice cream.








Surviving is his mother, LaVerne LaRue, twin sister Mary Myers (Ron), sister Judy Mercado, brother Albert LaRue, and brother-in-law Bill Screws, all of Parsons and several nieces and nephews. 
Preceding him in death was his father, sister Martha Screws and brother-in-law Ernesto Mercado.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, December 30 at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
