Jerry Francis Jones, age 87, passed away December 12, 2019 at his home following an illness.
Mr Jones was born November 22, 1932 in Parsons, KS. His parents were Guy and Velma Roberta (Provo) Jones.
He served in the U S Army from August 28, 1953 to June 21, 1955. He retired from the human resource department at LTV Tower in Dallas, TX. He enjoyed researching genealogy. He was greatly loved by his neighbors and his family.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Jack Jones.
Surviving are two nieces Robin Kelly, Richardson, TX and Debbie Warrick, Coppell, TX.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Oswego Cemetery. Pastor Bob Conway will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Derfelt Funeral Home, Oswego, KS.
