Kenneth John Rokos, age 84 of Girard, Kansas passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2019 in Pittsburg, Kansas.
Kenneth was born September 2, 1935 to John Anthony and Elizabeth Michalik Rokos in Chicago, Illinois. He lived in Chicago for 30 years before moving to California, where he lived for 30 years, before moving to Kansas. He was an Engineer with ITT Federal Electronic Corporation, and worked at Vandenberg Air Force Base.
Kenneth married Huong Nguyen on January 17, 2000. She survives of the home. Kenneth held membership with the Lion’s Club in Girard, and enjoyed bowling and playing at the Casinos.
Surviving are his wife Huong; one son John Rokos of Pittsburg; and two daughters Peggy Rokos and Mary Couch both of California.
Cremation arrangements are being handled through Derfelt Funeral Home of Columbus, KS. Memorial Donations may be made payable to the Girard Lion’s Club, in care of the funeral home.
