Carol Ann Ruttgen, age 76, passed away at 11:59 pm, Monday, December 23, 2019 at Labette Health, Parsons, Kansas
Carol was born August 22, 1943 in Oswego, KS. Her parents were Clarence and Ethel (Strickland) Ruttgen.
After graduating from high school she was employed with the State of Kansas where she worked in a Child Welfare office in Kansas City, a job she held for 35 years. Upon her retirement she returned to Oswego in the 1990’s. She later worked at Walmart, Parsons, KS for a few years.
Carol never married. She attended the Zion Hill Church rural Oswego. She enjoyed caring for her cats and dogs.
Surviving are 5 nieces an nephew, Donnie Ruttgen, Oswego, Greg Ruttgen, Welch, OK, Mark Ruttgen, Parsons, Sherry Foister, Parsons, and Teresa Poindexter, Grove, OK. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.
She was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home, Oswego, KS for cremation. No services are planned.
