Teresa Kay (Roy) Fink, age 53, passed away at 2:18 pm, Tuesday, May 22, 2019 at Cox South Medical Center, Springfield, MO following a sudden illness.
Teresa was born June 8, 1965 in Lexington, MO. Her parents were Jimmy and Donna (Brown) Roy.
At the age of 9, Teresa gave her life to Christ and was baptized at the Sixth Street Baptist Church in Galena, KS.
She graduated from Labette County High School in Altamont KS in 1983. After graduation she attended Northeastern Oklahoma College in Miami, OK and Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, KS where she majored in music and theater. She performed in numerous musical stage productions.
She worked as a flight attendant for American Airlines and was currently employed as a family and community implementer for The Arc of the Ozarks, Springfield.
Surviving is one daughter, Kristen Fink, Cassville, MO; her mother, Donna Roy, Springfield; one brother, Stephen Roy (Jonetta), Arvada, CO, 2 sisters, Karen Bayard (Rene), Mililani, Hawaii, and Angela Johnson (Armando) Springfield,, and 3 grandchildren, Chloe Lannum, Conner Haney, and Logan Haney. She leaves a host of other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Melissa Haney and her father, Jimmy Roy.
She was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena, KS for cremation.
