Sharon Joan Finley, 77, of 1625 East Avenue, Baxter Springs, KS, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Quaker Hill Nursing Facility following a long illness.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Rev. Ken Finley of the home; two sons, Keith Finley of Wellington, KS, and Kris Finley and wife Monica of Leavenworth, KS; their three daughters, Britanna, Kaylin, and Braylin Finley.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, John and Pauline Hoy.
Ken and Sharon were married on March 25, 1966 in Springfield, MO. She taught kindergarten for several years and served as a minister’s wife and mother most of her life. She loved to sing and decorate.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, May 16, 2019 at the First Christian Church, Baxter Springs, KS. Sharon has been entrusted to Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel for cremation. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the worship ministry of the First Christian Church in care of the funeral home.
