Patricia Louise “Patty” Lindsey, age 63, passed away at 2:43 pm, Friday, January 18, 2019 at Freeman West Hospital Joplin, MO following an illness.
Patty was born March 29, 1955 in Joplin, Missouri. Her parents were James Kenneth and Clara Louise (McMillan) Lindsey. She was a lifetime resident of Galena.
She graduated from Galena High School with the class of 1973. Patty had worked 39 years at Galena Nursing and Rehab in the housekeeping department. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Galena, KS. She was a avid reader and collected Cardinal redbird what nots.
Patty is survived by her mother, Louise Lindsey, Galena; her brother, John Lindsey (wife, Kay), Galena; her sister, Peggy Venezia, Mahomet, Ill; 3 nephews and one niece.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Lindsey.
She was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena, KS for cremation. No services are planned.
