Allen Wilkins

(From Carson-Wall Funeral Home)

Allen Dale Wilkins, 57, of rural Parsons, went home to be with the Lord early Thursday morning at his home.

Allen was born to Wendell Dale and Helen (McKnight) Wilkins on September 1, 1961 at Parsons. He grew up at Parsons and attended Parsons schools.

Allen was dearly loved by all who knew him. He was an accomplished drummer who played with his dad on lead guitar at the Glory Barn Church pastored by his parents.

Allen leaves behind not only his parents, but his wife Brenda Wilkins of Parsons; four children, Curtis Wilkins, Meagan Wilkins, Morgan Wilkins, and Meranda Wilkins; twin grandchildren Au’Brielle Wilkins and Ka’Trell Wilkins; his aunt, Bon Mead; and all of his church family. Allen is reunited with his brother, Barry Wilkins who went to Heaven on July 26, 2003. If Allen could he would tell everyone to get in a church, get saved, and he will meet us in Heaven.

The family will conduct private services at the Glory Barn Church at a later date. Burial will be in the Springhill Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Glory Barn Church and these may be left at or mailed to the Carson-Wall Funeral Home 112 N. 26th St., P.O. Box 942, Parsons, KS 67357. Online condolences may be left at www.wallfuneralservices.com.
