Richard Morrison

Richard Eugene Morrison, 64, of Louisburg, Ks, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 at his home.

Richard was born November 6, 1953 to William and Rosemary (Orler) Morrison in West Mineral, Kansas. 

He was a graduate from Southeast High School. Richard worked for several Mines around the country. He retired two years ago after working as a maintenance worker for KCPL for many years.
He was a member of the “Louisburg McDonald’s coffee club.” Richard attended many tractor pulls and had his own collection of tractors at home. His favorite sport was baseball. He attended the 1985 World Series and was a member of the 1970 American Legion state champs. 

Richard is survived by his mother, Rosemary Morrison of Pittsburg, KS, brother; Robert (Nancy) Morrison of Omaha, NE, sister; Elizabeth (Merlin) Hiller of McCune, KS and several nieces and nephews.

Richard was preceded in death by his father and infant sister Anna Maire. 

Graveside services will be held at 3pm, Friday, April 6, 2018 at St. Bridget’s Cemetery in Scammon, Kansas. A Parish rosary will be recited at 1 pm, prior to the service Friday at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg with a visitation to follow. 

Arrangements are under the direction of the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home of Pittsburg, KS.
