Duc M. Tran, 71, of Frontenac KS, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg.
Duc was born April 6, 1946 to Van and Ai (Nguyen) Tran in Vietnam, Asia.
He attended school in Vietnam and spent most of his life there. He moved to Frontenac 7 years ago with his children. Duc worked as city worker most of his life in Vietnam. After Duc retired he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
Duc is survived by his wife; Tuong Phan, son; Thinh (Nhu) Tran of Iola, KS, daughter; Hong (Lai) Tran of Frontenac, KS, brother; Quang Tran of Vietnam, Asia, sister; Nhan (Ngan) Tran of Vietnam, Asia, 5 grandchildren; Vinnie Nguyen, Mylinh Nguyen, Rio Nguyen., Luuly Tran and Aily Tran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Doan Tran.
Funeral Services will be held at 4 pm Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the Friskel Funeral Home in Frontenac, KS. Burial will follow at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Springfield, MO.
