Daisy Dean Waldon passed from this life Friday, April 20, 2018 at Eastwood Manor in Commerce, OK. She was 90.

Daisy was born December 28, 1927 in Hominy, OK to Bert Ray and Ophelia (Jones) Blair. She had lived in the Miami area most all her life. She was a member of the Treece Bible Holiness Church and was a homemaker.

She married Jack Waldon and he preceded her in death August 7, 2012, she was also preceded by a son Jimmy Darrell Waldon, her parents and 10 siblings LaVada, Virgil, Floyd, Hazel, Jack, Anna Rhea, Kitty Jo, Arlis , Imogene and Oleta.

Survivors include 7 sons Kenneth Chandler and companion Gail of Peggs, OK, Billy Wayne Chandler and wife Celeste of Vinita, OK, Larry Dean Chandler and wife Sandy of Claremore, OK, Rick Waldon and wife Vivian of Columbus, KS, Max Waldon of Miami, OK , Joe Waldon and wife Pam of Miami, OK and Jacky Waldon of Quapaw, OK. 3 daughters Carol French and husband Charles McGinty of Miami, OK, Cindy Bluejacket and husband Bruce of Afton, OK and Janice Pryor and husband Jim of Afton, OK, step-son, Jerry Waldon and wife Dorena of Miami, OK, her brother Bill Blair of Turlock, CA, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Miami Church of God Holiness in Miami, OK. Rev. Rick Waldon will officiate. Joe Waldon, Jason Waldon, Justin Waldon, Josh Kelly, Jeremy French and Jim Waldon will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be her sons. Interment will be in the G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday evening at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel.
