Laura Ann Dunn, age 59, passed away at 10:30 pm, Thursday, November 22, 2018 at her home following an illness.
Laura was born August 31, 1959 in Joplin, MO. Her parents were Melvin and Lorraine (Channel) Fry. She was a lifetime resident of Galena.
She was a graduate of Galena High School. She had worked as a cook at the Riverton (KS) Schools for a total of 15 years. She enjoyed gardening and traveling.
Laura was married to Mike Dunn on January 20, 1977 in Columbus KS. He survives.
Additional survivors include her mother, Lorraine Fry, Nathrop, OH; one daughter, Michelle Dunn, Galena:; 3 brothers, Randy Fry, Toledo, OH, Richard Fry, Galena, KS, and Lonnie Fry, Baxter Springs, KS; 3 sisters, Lisa Miller, and Melissa Fry, Northrop, CO, and Susan Lawson, Chelsea, OK.
She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Fry and 3 brothers, Gary Fry, Mike Fry, and Kenneth Fry.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 5:00 pm, Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena, KS
Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm, Monday, November 26, 2018 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Galena, KS
