Hilda Kasjaka

Hilda Kathryn Kasjaka, 98, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018, at Via Christi Village, Pittsburg, KS.

She was born July 24, 1920, at Franklin, KS, the daughter of Spartico C. and Hilda (Suppanz) Mannoni. She graduated from high school in Detroit, MI.

On August 23, 1941, she was united in marriage to Raphael J Kasjaka in Detroit, MI. He preceded her in death on May 27, 1997.
Mrs. Kasjaka was a homemaker.

She was 50 year member of the First United Methodist Church, a member of the Methodist Women’s Association, Homemakers Sunday School Class, Eagles Women Bowlers, “Webelow” Boy Scout Den Mother of Troop 73, and AARP.

She is survived by a son, Kurt Kasjaka and his wife Nikki of Pittsburg, KS; three grandchildren, Lisa Case and her husband David of Overland Park, KS, Amy Haynes of Arlington, TX, and Scott Kasjaka of Pittsburg, KS; four great-grandchildren, Craig T. Kasjaka, Gabrielle Kasjaka, Kathryn Case and Harrison Case.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, an infant daughter, Karen Rae Kasjaka and a son, Craig D. Kasjaka.

Mrs. Kasjaka has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. The family suggests memorials to the Harry Hynes Hospice.
