Marjorie Graham

Marjorie Ellen (Evans) Graham, 93, passed away March 20, 2017 at Pittsburg, KS. 

She was born February 8, 1924, in Neodesha, KS, to William and Pearl (Miller) Evans. She graduated from Neodesha High School in 1942. 

On February 8, 1942, she married James R. Graham, Jr., in Neodesha. Mrs. Graham was a retail merchant in Fredonia, KS, for twenty-eight years and retired in 1985. Mrs. Graham was a former member of the First United Methodist Church in Fredonia, the Fredonia Arts Council, Friends of the Library, and Neodesha Alumni Association. 

She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn (Ken) Bishop and Dr. Gloria (Pat) Flynn both of Pittsburg; two sons, Bob (Marilyn) Graham of Fredonia and Jon (Dr. Terre) Graham of Wichita; three grandchildren, Jon (Mary) Bishop of Pittsburg, Brooke Spillman, and Erin (Dr. Andrew) Spaeth of White Bear Lake, MN; six great-grandchildren, Bo Hughes, Luke Spillman, Madelaine Bishop, Brandon Bishop, and William Bishop all of Pittsburg, and Garick Spaeth of White Bear Lake, MN; and three nephews. Preceding her in death is her daughter, Nancy Graham Evans and one sister, Meredith Sharp. 

Cremation has taken place and graveside services will be held at a later date. The family suggests memorials to the Fredonia Flag Fund and/or the Marjorie Graham Teacher Education Scholarship at Pittsburg State University.
