Patricia Mayberry

Patricia Sue (Leverich) Mayberry, 75, of Girard, died at 3:50 p.m., Friday, September 14, 2018.
Patricia was born May 6, 1943 in West Frankfort, Illinois, a daughter of Ezra and Ruth (Collins) Leverich. She moved with her family to Girard when she was 6 months old and she attended Girard Schools.

Patricia married Wilburn R. “Bud” Mayberry on March 3, 1964 in Miami, Oklahoma. Bud survives of the home.

She worked as a dietician at New Horizons in Pittsburg.

Patricia enjoyed her family, her Bible studies, bowling, playing games and cards, and barbecues.
She was baptized in the Trinity Baptist Church in Pittsburg.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, Bud, of the home are her daughters, Robin Randall of Mound City, Kansas, Cheryl Waipa, and her husband, Frank, of Derby, Kansas, and Lori Seal, and her husband, Barry, of Opolis, Kansas; a son, Scott Mayberry, and his wife Tammie, of Girard; 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; a sister, Connie Clinton of Springfield, Missouri.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Gerald Leverich, and her sisters, Darlene Leverich, Jeri Bird, Evelyn Nagy, and Betty Short.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home with Barry Seal officiating. Burial will be in the Girard Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 19th at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home where friends may call after 2:00 p.m., Wednesday..

Memorials are suggested for family wishes and these may be left at the funeral home or mailed to Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home at 518 W St. John, Box 258, Girard, 66743.
