Terri Tessman

Terri Earleen Tessman of Baxter Springs, Kansas passed from this life Monday November 11, 2019 at her home, she was 63.

Terri was born in Joplin, Missouri on October 7, 1956 to Earl and Opal Marie (Adams) Berry. She graduated from high school and got her LPN license. Terri was a homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star out of Baxter Springs, the Rainbows and was a member of the Tennessee Prairie Church in Baxter Springs. She loved gardening, flowers, cooking and spending time with her family.

She married John A. Tessman JR. on March 28, 1975 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, he survives of the home.








Terri is also survived by two sons John A. Tessman III of the home, Jason Earl Tessman of Tuscan, Arizona, one daughter Tera L. Tessman Gooden and husband Andy of Wyandotte, Oklahoma. She is also survived by two brothers Randy Berry of Baxter Springs, Kansas, Ronald Berry of Baxter Springs, Kansas, two sisters Sherrial Smith of Riverton, Kansas, and Karen Ford of Welch, Oklahoma. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.

Terri is preceded in death by her parents and a sister Kristy McCarter.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday November 15, 2019 at Tennessee Prairie Church, with Pastor David Robinson officiating. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. before the service at the church.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Freeman Cancer Institute in memory of Terri.
