Justin Paul Roberts 61, of Parsons, passed away at 8:50 p.m., Monday, April 15, 2019 at the Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
He was born on August 29, 1957 at Wichita, Kansas to Justin and Madgelene Roberts of Wichita.
Justin is survived by four sisters; Joyce Elmarry of Wichita, Earlene Beshears of Wichita, Melanie Grissom of Newton, Kansas and Amanda Lucas of Redfield, Kansas. He leaves behind a host of extended family and friends who will miss him deeply.
He loved everyone at S.K.I.L. and was known as the “Candyman” to all of them. He grew up with six sisters and loved them all dearly. Justin loved life, family, friends, and most of all he loved God and wanted everyone to love God like he did. He loved from a pure heart and didn’t know a stranger. He loved to fish, watch Christian TV, older comedies such as Andy Griffith, and drinking coffee.
Justin was preceded in death by his parents, Justin and Madgelene Roberts of Wichita and his sisters, Dolores Torres of Takoma, WA and Nancy Gressett of Decatur, MS.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home with Pastor Christie Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
