Bonnie L. Brooks, 75, of Scammon, KS, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019, at Medicalodges in Pittsburg.
She was born April 12, 1943, in California and spent most of her life in southeast Kansas.
Bonnie married Larry L. Brooks and he resides at the home.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and daycare provider, who treated everyone like they were her own kids. Bonnie enjoyed crafts, baking and crocheting.
She is survived by her 6 sons; Robert Gail (Tina) Eckles of Michigan, Michail Dawayne (Sueatta) Eckles of Texas, Jeffery Eugene Eckles of Kansas City, Travis Joe (Wiley) of Kansas City, Troy Dean (Beth) Eckles of Columbus, William Lee (Jaclyn) Moore of Pittsburg, 2 daughters; Candy Lynn Miller of Joplin, Mercedes Joy Eckles of Scammon, 20 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson; Ivan Rodriguez Jr..
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
