Patsy Darlene Stewart, 70, of Parsons, died at 10:35 p.m., March 10, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Society in Parsons.
She was born April 18, 1948 in McCune to Homer and Pauline (Dourghty) Stewart. Patsy grew up in McCune and graduated from McCune High School.
She worked many years at Heritage Nursing Home in Parsons as a CNA and later as a private in home care giver. Patsy enjoyed flowers, gardening, cooking and family time on Sundays. She especially loved her bird, Sugar.
Survivors include one son, Jerry Stewart and his companion, Jill Phelps Weldin of Independence, Mo; grandchildren, Zack, Haleigh and Aubree Stewart, Kelsie Mart, and great granddaughter, Kendall Stewart; two sisters, Nancy Varner of Parsons and Joy Blackburn of Dennis; niece, Melissa Kuffler of Parsons; nephew, Johnny Good of Kansas City and several nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a memorial service at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Center in Parsons with Rev. Wayne Mason Officiating. Memorials may be made and sent to the Good Samaritan Society of Parsons. Online condolences may be left at www.wallfuneralservices.com.
