Thelma L. Schneider age 92 of Pittsburg, Kansas passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Via Christi Village.
She was born on February 3, 1926 in Asbury, Missouri to Clarence Jackson and Rachel (Davis) Jackson. She was a member of the Asbury First Baptist Church.
Thelma married Therwin Schneider on June 27, 1946 in Pittsburg, Kansas and he preceded her in death on August 25, 2015. She was also preceded in death by her son, Terry Schneider; and brothers, Clarence Jackson, Ray Jackson, Lloyd Jackson and Lester Jackson.
Thelma is survived by her son, Tommy Schneider and wife Terri of Seneca, Missouri; daughter, Kristy Swartz and significant other, Kenny Lynch of Pittsburg, Kansas; 5 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Thelma will lie in state on Tuesday, June 17, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City for viewing. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM in Crocker Cemetery.
