Nancy Marie Bauder-Lemieux, 52, of Girard, passed away at 6:05 a.m., Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at her residence in Girard.
She was born April 28, 1966 in Girard, a daughter of Donald and Sherry (LaForge) Bauder.
Nancy attended schools in Girard, graduating from the Girard High School in 1984. She worked as a hairdresser in Girard and then she was employed at Sun Graphics in Parsons.
She attended Fort Scott Community College and she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in education, with honors, from Pittsburg State University in 1999.
On May 11, 2002, Nancy was united in marriage to Troy A. Lemieux in Girard and he survives of the home.
Nancy was of the Catholic faith and she believed in Jesus Christ as her Savior.
Nancy enjoyed quilting, and her family, especially her grandchildren, Kyzer, Ryder, Weston, Brook, Jocellynn, Alex, and her numerous nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her sons, Randy Paul Bauder and Kalie Stafford, of Girard, and Joseph Thomas Lemieux, of Hutchinson; her daughter, Alexis Dawn Lemieux, of Hutchinson; her sister, Kristie Bauder, and her husband, Tim Milburn, of Girard.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Shelly Childers.
Memorial services for Nancy Marie Lemieux will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Living Faith Nazarene Church near Girard with Pastor Rick Prideaux officiating.
Memorials are suggested to her grandchildren’s education fund and these may be left at the church or mailed to the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home, 518 W. St. John, P.O. Box 258 Girard, Kansas 66743.
