Eula Crabtree

Eula M. Crabtree, 84, of Pittsburg, passed away at 4:03 p.m., Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Medicalodge of Frontenac.

She was born May 9, 1933, at Granby, MO, the daughter of Lester F. and Maggie (Rodgers) Gilbreath.

She was united in marriage to Earl Crabtree. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Crabtree worked as a laundry supervisor at New Horizons for 20 plus years before her retirement.

Membership was held in the Church of Christ, Pittsburg.

She is survived by four sons, Michael Gregg of Pittsburg, Dennis Gregg of Mulberry, Steven Gregg of Pittsburg, and Douglas Gregg of Croweburg, two stepsons, Dallas Crabtree and Jerry Crabtree both of Kansas City, MO, one stepdaughter, Mary Culey of Independence, MO, one sister, Doris Redd of Pittsburg, and multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Marvin Gilbreath and Roger Gilbreath.

A service for Mrs. Crabtree is set for 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 7, 2018, at the Brenner Mortuary with Minister Jerry Kendall officiating. Burial will follow in the Crocker Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home on Monday. The family suggests memorials to the New Hope Special Olympics.
