Claude Harold Vanatta, Jr. of rural Miami, OK passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Eastwood Manor Nursing Home in Commerce, OK. He was 80.
Harold was born October 28, 1936 in Miami, OK to Claude Harold and June (Smith) Vanatta, Sr. He had lived in rural Miami his entire life. He was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife Edna Toppins Vanatta, a son Bert Vanatta and his parents.
Harold is survived by his son, Bart Vanatta and wife Janie of rural Miami, OK, a daughter-n-law, Pat Vanatta of Baxter Springs, KS, a brother, J.B. Vanatta of Fairland, OK., 2 grandchildren Shawn Payton and wife Christy and Tracy Payton, 3 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
A Celebration of Life service will be Friday, September 22, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Commerce, OK.
