Joananne Terwilliger, 74 of Columbus, died June 19, 2017 at Pittsburg Care and Rehab Center.
She was born July 6, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland the daughter of Herbit and Betty Giesler and had been an area resident for most of her life.
On September 14, 1976 Joananne married George Terwilliger in Miami, Florida. He survives at the home.
She was an active member of the First Christian Church in Columbus, KS.
Joananne enjoyed fostering children, taking care of her cats and gardening.
Survivors include her husband, George Terwilliger; Daughter, Carol Clark; 2 grandchildren, Vance Endicott and Laura Endicott; 7 great-grandchildren, Tagan, Tucker, Gavin, Ava, Charlee, Bella, and Ellis Endicott.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Herbit Gieseler and Betty Crawford.
Graveside Services will be 11 am Monday, June 26, 2017 at Messer Cemetery in Cherokee County, KS.
A memorial has been established to the First Christian Church in Columbus. Arrangements and services are under the direction of Bath-Naylor Funeral Home of Columbus, KS. Condolences may be left at our web site www.bathnaylor.com.
