Elizabeth J. Miller 60, of Pittsburg, KS died Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, KS following an illness. Elizabeth was born July 14, 1956 in Shawnee Mission, KS, the daughter of Blaine and Emma (Larrison) Miller.
She was a CNA at Golden Living Center for 30 years. Her passion was caring for others and spending time with her kids. Elizabeth was an active member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle Church.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her son Jason Allman (Katrina), Fort Polk, LA; daughters Dawn Johns (Roy Jr.), Carthage, MO, Shawna Bishop (Brad), Pittsburg, KS and Mary Brittle (Jeremy), Pittsburg, KS; brothers Warren Miller (Yuki), Shawnee Mission, KS, Mike Miller (Debbie), Kansas City, KS, Dale Miller, Pittsburg, KS; sister Kathy Radell (Buddy), Fort Worth, TX; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild on the way; sister in-law Janet Miller, Shawnee Mission, KS; close friend Maryann Anderson, Pittsburg, KS.
Funeral service will be held 1:00pm Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home Pittsburg, KS with Pastor Daryl Gaddy officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg, KS. Family will receive friends Tuesday January 17, 2017 from 6p.m-7p.m at Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS; friends may call after 12:00pm on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the Angels Among Us. Friends may drop off or mail memorials to Bath-Naylor Funeral Home 522 S.
