Charles Wilbur Terwilleger, 72 of McCune, KS died April 19, 2017 at his home.
He was born January 11, 1945 in Mound Valley, KS the son of Wilbur S. and Nellie M. (Olmsted) Terwilleger.
Charles worked for the Union Pacific Railroad in Signal Maintenance for 42 years.
He served his country in the United States Navy and also loved spending his free time outdoors, fishing and gardening.
Charles is survived by his daughter; Wendy (Lee) Cherry, sister; Kathleen Terwilleger, Topeka, KS, grandchild; Phillip Cherry.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Wilbur and Nellie Terwilleger and his wife Shirley Bowdre.
Memorial services were held Monday April 24, 2017 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Weir, KS with Rev. James Sukraw officiating. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com. Memorials may be left to Via Christi Cancer Center; these may be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
