Danny Clouse was born on February 15, 1958 in San Gabriel, CA. Danny graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, however found his passion working as a case manager for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Danny served in the United States Air Force from 1977-1981. After his service in the Air Force, Danny served in the Armed Forces in the US Air Guard and the Army National Guard.
Danny was united in marriage to Lindsay Harshman on august 24, 1991.
Danny is preceded in death by his parents, Harold Eugene “Sonny” Clouse, Donald Lee LaFalier and mother, Wilma “Dean” LaFalier.
Survivors include Lindsay Harshman of Baxter Springs, KS; one son, Haden Clouse; daughter, Haley Doherty and Fiancé Deriek Durbin all of Baxter Springs, KS; four grandchildren, Alexandra Clouse, Haden Clouse, Raylee Doherty and Abbey Gale Durbin all of Baxter Springs, KS; sister, Dawn Kelly of Quapaw, OK; brothers, Ricky Clouse of Bernice, OK, Nathan LaFalier and wife Jerusha of Miami, OK; aunts, Sandra Bear of Quapaw, OK, and Billie Tomlinson of Commerce, OK; many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of close friends.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel. Pastor Geoff Buffalo will officiate. In respect to COVID-19 social distancing will be observed. Honorary Pallbearers are Eric Clouse, Tadd Clouse, Newton Sappington, Colton Sappington, Haden Bradley Clouse, Burf Truelove, and Terry Leeper.
