Makenzie Nicole Towery 22, of Frontenac, KS died 6:10pm Wednesday March 8, 2017 at her home.
Makenzie was born August 12, 1994 in Pittsburg, KS the daughter of Bryan Nesbitt and Paula Towery. She attended Frontenac Schools in Frontenac, KS. Makenzie was of the Christian Faith. Makenzie was adopted by her grandparents William T. and Lois I. Towery at the age of 4. She lived in Frontenac all her life except a brief time in Ft. Scott, KS. Makenzie enjoyed music and her friends and the love of her life daughter Jayden.
Survivors include her daughter, Jayden Marie LaRoche of Ft. Scott, KS; biological parents; adopted parents Bill Terry Towery and wife Lois Irene of Frontenac, KS; siblings Halie Donaldson and husband Jason of Frontenac, KS, Corey Towery and wife Killashandra Ree of Frontenac, KS, Michael W. Towery of Pittsburg, KS; nephews Keddrik Nichols, Gabriel Towery and Aiden Towery.
Makenzie was preceded in death by stillborn son Hayden Mathew Towery.
