Johnnie Lee Scofield Jr., 55 of Galena, KS passed from this life on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at his home.
Johnnie was born June 14, 1965 in Joplin, Missouri to the union of Johnnie Lee Sr. and Donna Jean (Howard) Scofield. Johnnie worked in construction and for the sign company for many years retiring in 2004. Johnnie enjoyed fishing, gardening, flowers, woodworking, carving, puzzle books, and being outdoors.
Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jimmy Dale Scofield; nephew, Wesley Scofield.
Johnnie is survived by three sons, John David Cobb (Heather) of Galena, KS, Anthony Cobb of Galena, KS, Tyler Cobb (Kim) of Galena, KS; daughter, Kristi Scofield (Gage) of Wichita, KS; step-children, Kayla Reed, Keith Reed of Michigan; two sisters, Cheryl Seeman (Kevin) of Baxter Springs, KS, and Brenda Jones (Robert) of Columbus, KS; along with several grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, July 31, 2020 at the Lowell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home to help defray expenses. Online condolences may be expressed at www.derfeltfuneralhomes.com.
